The Socialist Party declared for the first time that it will ask the
invalidity of the Tirana mayoral race, which was called by MP Blendi
Klosi as an unseen electoral massacre.
“The Socialist Party and the opposition alliance are convinced that the May 8th victory belongs to Edi Rama, and the victory of Edi Rama was a great victory over the government. We are convinced that Sali Berisha and Ristani spoiled these elections in order to cover their loss in Tirana and all over Albania. This is why we will request the invalidity of these elections”, Klosi declared.
The Socialist MP said that there is uncontestable evidence that testify the massive manipulations of Tirana elections.
“Changed codes; missing codes; ballots out of the envelopes; ballots that were inserted from the cracks that were made to the plastic boxes in CEC basements; ballots that belong to voting centers situated miles away from each other, and that have traveled through the criminal hands of Ristani; the codes of the ballots that do not match with the protocols show the size of the manipulation of Tirana elections”, Klosi declared.
The Socialist Party warned the Prime Minister that he is leading the country towards a dangerous road, creating a cost that will be paid by all Albanians.
