Police mega-operation after 43 arrest warrants for names related to organized crime in several cities of Albania

43 arrest warrants have been issued by the Special Anticorruption Court, while the SPAK prosecution is leading the operation in several Albanian cities such as Tirana, Vlorë, Lezhë, Krujë and Shkodër.

According to Top Channel’s, Anila Hoxha, the investigations started after the transcriptions of the conversations through the codes in the Sky ECC applications that the suspected persons used with each other.

SPAK has targeted well-known local criminals such as Valter and Durim Bami, the two brothers Leonard and Erlis Duka, Fatmir Hyseni alias Docja, or the two brothers Astrit and Altin Avdylaj, part of Shijak’s gang.

Fatmir Hyseni alias Docja was already wanted for two assassinations against Inez Hajrulla and Santiago Malko.

Astrit Avdylaj, nicknamed “Nicja”, is known as the leader of Shijak’s gang and he has been accused of drugs, murder, prostitution, but also of strong political ties, together with his brother Altin Avdylaj.

Among the list of arrest warrants is the former MP of the SP, Arben Ndoka, along with his nephew Samuel Ndoka.

There is still no official announcement on the results of the operacion, where the suspects are charged with murder, providing means for murder or being part of criminal organizations.
