Minister Nikolla in Turkey, meets counterpart about Albanian language project in school

The Albanian Minister of Education, Sport and Youth met with the Turkish Minister of Education and attended the ceremony that inaugurates the teaching of Albanian as second official language, at the Alija Izetbegovic school in Turkey.

Minister Yilmaz underlined that Albania and Turkey have a common past, for hundreds of years, and are now two brotherly countries.

According to him, although both countries don’t share a common border, their ties are very strong. After Albania, adds the Turkish agency Anadolu, Turkey is the country that has the highest number of Albanians.

Minister Nikolla thanked Turkey for the possibility and said that the cooperation needs to be reinforced.
