Mark Stembridge is praised as a hero by the British press, after the “London Bridge” and “Borough Market” terror.

The restaurant owner saved 130 people from the histery of the aggressors, hiding them in his cafe.

Setmbridge explains that half of his staff members are former Albanian military. They helped take people inside, while armed men were running towards the structure. Stembridge thanks his three Albanian employees that the situation didn’t get worse.

“We were lucky that part of the staff are former military. They kept their calm. We had 130 people outside and we took them all inside. We made sure everyone was out of danger. Three armed people were outside, but they hesitated to come towards us, after seeing that we were organized. They went down the bridge, towards another bar”, the owner says.

Stembridge appealed authorities to train bar and restaurant owners for such events. He thinks that the police must train bars to defend from further attacks, in the current tense situation.
