METE fines ACR Company

The Ministry of Economy, Trade and Energy fined ACR Company with 56 million ALL for not realizing the investments.

Mete says that the company has not realized the investments for the years 2007, 2008 and 2009.

“The inspections of the National Agency of Natural Resources state that ACR company has invested 3.09 million USD in the period 2007-2008, while the agreement provides that the total investments should reach 3.4 million USD. Inspections also show that the company hasn’t made any investments during 2009 in the Bulqize chrome mines. For this reason, METE decided to apply a penalty of 56 million ALL to ACR Company, which must be paid within 20 days”, the Ministry declared.
