Western Balkan leaders meet to discuss mini-Schengen

Western Balkan leader will meet this Sunday in Ochrid, Northern Macedonia, in the second meeting after the one held in Novi Sad.

This will be a trilateral meeting between the Serbian President, Alexandar Vucic; the PM of Albania, Edi Rama; and the PM of Northern Macedonia, Zoran Zaev.

The President of Serbia and the two Prime Ministers will also meet with the leader of the Council of Ministers in Bosnia Herzegovina, Denis Zvizdic, and the Minister of Economy from Montenegro, Dragic Sekulic.

After the meeting between leaders, there will be a plenary session in which Western Balkan leaders will meet with representatives of international organizations and institutions, such as the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, the Regional Cooperation Council and the World Bank.

The aim is to find an agreement on a list of priority measures that can be implemented at an accelerated pace within 2020, before the next Berlin Process Summit.

Top Channel has learned that these measures are related to the entire legal bilateral structures for realizing border passages where possible and remove bureaucratic procedures that could be digitalized.
