The Parliamentary Group of the Albanian Democratic Party has submitted a request for an urgent interpellation with Prime Minister Edi Rama, related to the Rai 3 investigation where connections were made between Albanian government officials and organized crime networks.
In the filed request, it is emphasized that on April 22, 2024, the “Report” program on the Italian public television RAI 3 published an investigation on “the strong links of organized crime with the government of Edi Rama”.
“Under these conditions, with the aim of providing information and explanations regarding the concerns presented in the content of the investigation of the show “Report”, on the Italian television RAI 3, as well as the intervention of the managers of this television regarding this investigation by Prime Minister Edi Rama, we request the development of an urgent interpellation with Prime Minister Edi Rama” – says the letter signed by the Chairman of the DP Parliamentary Group, Gazment Bardhi.
