Lorenc Hysaj was registered at the Lasgush Poradeci school, and his
brother will be able to go to a kindergarten. After Top Channel
broadcasted his story, the Minister of Education, Lindita Nikolla, took
the matters into her own hands to register him at the school and also to
find a stable job for his mother.
Hysaj and had arrived from Greece, but his mother was unable to and transfer his documents, so he could not be registered at the school. This was resolved with the intervention of the Minister of Education, Lindita Nikolla.
“This will be the first day, and the school directory and staff will determine his level so that he can receive a specific program. He has a good friend here, and I will follow his course step by step”, Minister Lindita Nikolla declared.
“I want to thank the director for the job she found me as a cleaning lady at the school. I am very happy for my son”, Mariana says.
Lorenc expresses his joy that he will be able to study with his brother and his friends.
However, Mariana is still a homeless single mother in Tirana. Top Channel’s appeal has affected many people in Albania and abroad who have reached us with hundreds of messages of solidarity, and readiness to help a family.
