Slow process in Shkoder, Berat and Tirana too

The Albanian capital, Tirana, is experiencing a very strong battle
between the two candidates. The Zonal Election Commission 50 for the
Municipal Unit 6 has counted 10 of 41 ballot boxes, with the Socialist
candidate Edi Rama leading with 2302 votes against the Democratic Lulzim
Basha with 1928 votes.

The vote counting process has been slow in Shkoder, counting 9 ballot
boxes from 95 in total, with the Democratic Party (DP) candidate leading
with 2008 votes against Genc Uruci of the Socialist Party (SP) with
1059 votes. Meanwhile, in the Malesi e Madhe, the myth of the Democratic
Party has collapsed in some communes, with the Socialist Party leading.

In the southern city of Berat, the process has also been slow, with 27 ballot boxes counted of 74 in total, with the Socialist Fadil Nasufi leading with 483 votes against the Democratic Party candidate. Corovoda municipality in this district has started to count only four ballot boxes, with six voting centers in total, while the Otllak commune in the same district has chosen the Socialist candidate after a long history of supporting the Democratic Party.

In Kuçove, Socialist Party candidate Gjyseli has 3991 votes against Kapllani from the Socialist Movement for Integration with 3434 votes.
