The President of Albania, Bujar Nishani, sent a message to the President of the USA, Barack Obama, for the Independence Day.
“On the 240th anniversary of the Independence Day, I have the pleasure to transmit the warmest wishes to you and to the friend people of America, on my behalf and on that of the people of Albania”, Nishani’s message says.
“We express our deep gratitude for the significant support the USA have given Albania in their first steps of creating a modern state, and for consolidaring democracy and democratic institutions. The USA ermains the main strategic partner for Albania in the path of Euro-Atlantic reforms. Albanians are proud to be by the side of the USA today, in the global coalition for the fight against ISIS, and against international and violent terrorism”, Nishani said.
