Fatos Lulo’s most important decision was when he decided he was in favour of the Vetting Law at the Constitutional Court, the law that has put in danger his entire career.

Put who is Fatos Lulo?

He graduated for justice in 1988 and worked for four years at the social assistance committee.

From 1994 to 2004 he has worked as a lawyer. Later he was chosen by the Parliament as a member of the National Council of Radio and Television.

Lulo became Judge in 2005 and worked until 2013, mainly with administrative cases for unfair termination of work relations.

He also became part of the colleges that took decisions against Mihal Deligjorgji, suspected of smuggling, a case that received attention after the Gerdec tragedy.

But the most delicate case Lulo had in his hands was the extradition of Almir Rrapo to the USA. The Supreme Court at that time ruled that the extradition didn’t guarantee the life of Rrapo.

Rrapo at that time was also defended by the same lawyer who is now defending Fatos Lulo, Ardian Visha.
