The murder of former police officer Ajet Zeqaj might have been recorded by the security cameras of some surrounding businesses.
Investigators say that the victim had returned from France the past three weeks and the motive might be related to an illegal activity of the victim in France.
Ajet Zeqaj, from Tepelena, had worked as Traffic Police in 2001-2002. In 1996 he had also been part of the Special Army Forces.
The 56-year-old has had constant conflicts with his brother-in-laws for the construction of an apartment building in Durres.
The parties have sued each other several times, while the police took the brother-in-laws for questioning,
