The sale of fireworks and pyrotechnic materials in Albania has been banned since several years, but only 17 days before New Year’s Eve, journalists who asked to buy fireworks at several sale points in Tirana were informed that they should order them in advance, while in one of these points we managed to buy 2 explosive packs.
The sale of fireworks in our country has also become part of the online market. In social networks “TikTok” and “Instagram” it is enough to do a search the keyword “fireworks” and immediately several pages are lined up without showing any information about their location, but with a message or the contact number where you can order some of the pyrotechnic tools
exhibited in the gallery and the order comes by mail to the given address.
The journalists of Fiks Fare talked on the phone with two of these sites and for the order of these explosives, the merchants gave the address of receiving the order because we only worked by mail.
