The activists Adem Demaci accused EULEX mission of favoring Belgrade and of damaging the young state of Kosovo.
“EULEX is trying to play a neutral role in Kosovo, but in fact it is keeping Belgrade’s side, and this is damaging for Kosovo”, Demaci declared.
In an interview for “Epoka e Re”, Demaci commented the latest events in Northern Kosovo, by supporting the government operation and by criticizing the retreat of the Special Forces.
“We went there and retreated in the wrong time. Instead of sending more forces, we retreated, and the Serbians burned the border checkpoint”, Demaci declared.
He added that this made foreign troops take the border checkpoint under control, and Kosovo government lost its authority.
“What happened is exactly what Serbia wanted, returning the past situation”, underlined the well-known activist, who valued the political unity that Kosovo parties showed in this moment.
