In the last 24 hours in Albania there have been only 4 new cases of infection with the new coronavirus.
Health authorities said that in total 38 cases are currently registered in Tirana, 5 cases in Durres (one of which has died), 2 cases in Lushnje, 2 cases in Elbasan, 6 cases in Fier, 2 cases in Rrogozhina.
Top Channel’s Alma Demiraj stated that in accordance with the epidemic scenarios, after the Infectious Disease Hospital, Shefqet Ndroqi Hospital will be turned to a temporary hospital for COVID-19.
“In the last 24 hours 42 suspected persons, citizens and health personnel have been tested for coronavirus, out of which 4 new cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed. To date, 605 suspected cases have been tested and 55 confirmed positive with COVID-19,” the statement said.
