More than 280.000 passengers and 66.000 vehicles have travelled in and out between the Durres Port and other Italian ports during the month of August.
Top Channel’s journalist in Durres, Vali Qyrfyci, reported that the highest number of travelers were from Durres to Bari, Ancona, and Trieste.
Official statistics show that 160.000 persons have traveled outside the country, and 120.000 have been incoming.
These passengers have traveled with the seven ferries that those lines are using to connect the two Adriatic shores. Many of them were tourists, but also Albanian immigrants who live and work in the EU countries.
