Top US drugs’ official visits Tirana for meetings with Prime Minister Rama and ministers

Assistant Secretary for the International Bureau of Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs Todd D. Robinson has arrived in Tirana for an official visit today.

According to the announcement of the American Department of State, he will stay in the capital until March 20, where he will meet with Prime Minister Edi Rama, members of the government cabinet and representatives of the justice bodies against drug trafficking.

During these meetings, the assistant secretary of the International Bureau of Narcotics is expected to become familiar with the challenges of the justice authorities, and also to strengthen the cooperation between the two countries in this field.

The senior American official is expected to have a meeting with the leaders of the SPAK special prosecution to communicate to them the support to continue on the path they have started in the fight of corruption at high levels.

After Tirana, Robinson, according to SD, will travel to Pristina where he will meet with President of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani as well as with partners in the law enforcement and justice sector.
