The High Council of the Judiciary has suspended three Durres Court of Appeal Judges.

Petrit Ceno, Kliton Spahiu and Petraq Dhimitri were suspended after information received from the Prosecution of Serious Crimes.

The Prosecution says that the three judges may have profited illegal trips abroad, including watching a football match between Real Madrid and Barcelona in Spain.

In exchange for these favours, they have issued a verdict in favour of businessman Namik Sadik, also under investigation by the Court of Serious Crimes.
