The “de jure” chairman of the Democratic Party, Lulzim Basha, held a meeting with the democrats in branch no. 3 in Tirana, from where he did not spare accusations against the SP majority and the rival group of Reestablishment, on the issue of Electoral Reform.

As he recalled his proposals for the changes in the electoral law, Basha said that the deputies supporting the Re-establishment are serving PM Edi Rama by annihilating the Electoral Reform commission.

“In order to build together a path through which to awaken Albania towards the progress of well-being for every Albanian, for this reason we have proposed the electoral reform. Its principles are embraced by every citizen regardless of their political beliefs. The open candidate lists, the electronic voting and electronic counting, for Albania as an area that guarantees the equality of the vote, as well as the vote of the diaspora.

“This is another case where it is clear who fights for the Albanians and who fights for the Democrats, as well as who has returned to the trailer of Edi Rama’s broken bus. They destroyed the electoral reform commission because they were going to build another 3 by 3 cell. It’s been more than two months since the electoral reform commission was annihilated by the hand of those who call themselves the opposition, but who are actually Edi Rama’s trailer” – said Basha.
