The Parliament Speaker, Gramoz Ruci, held the opening speech for the new Parliamentary session today, on September 2nd.
Ruci declared that the seats abandoned by the Democratic Party and the Socialist Movement for Integration have been replaced very quickly, which helped to bring back the normality and legitimacy of the Parliament.
The Speaker also said that the Parliament was confirmed as an institution with a constitutional quorum, with a constitutional majority, to exert all legal functions.
As for the priories of the new session, Ruci focused on the electoral reform, which, he said, can be achieved through consensus, by involving even the opposition outside the Parliament.
