The opposition leader, Edi Rama, visited Pogradec for the Socialist
Party new memberships, where he said that the difficult political
situation is due to the absence of the opposition, which only slanders.
Rama said the DP keeps criticizing the Minister of Interior, Saimir Tahiri, because his work has damaged their interests.
“A party that calls itself an opposition organized more than 1000 conferences in two and a half years to slander against the Minister of Interior. They slander because their interests were damaged”, Rama said.
Reminding the operation in Lazarat, Rama said that it demolished a bank of dirty money. The government leader said that Lazarat had won over the state for years, because crime was tied with politics.
“We are doing reforms that create resistance, discontent and adversaries”, Rama said.
Rama spoke about the accusations against the Health Minister, Ilir Beqaj, saying that the opposition slanders against him after their interests were damaged.
“They attack him for reducing the medicament price with 30% and because he also touched their interests”, Rama said.
