The President of Albania, Ilir Meta, said that the final opinion fo the Venice Commission proved his stances.
“As never before, the final reports were very different from the preliminary one”, the reaction said.
According to the President, it proved that the President did not violate the Constitution and that he didn’t overstep his constitutional competences.
The president said it is regrettable that so much energy was wasted in the recent months, which should have put in service of the EU accession negotiations.
