Isa Boletini reburied with honors

The ceremony was held in the Adem Jashari Stadium, Mitrovica, with the presence of the highest public representatives of Kosovo and Albania, and also with relatives of the father of the Albanian independence, Ismail Qemali.

“Boletini is the deed, the gesture, the model, the pillar of the Albanian temple. Toady we tell him that Albanians have two independent states in the Balkan, free and democratic. We are more grateful than ever to Kosovo, where the first rebellions started and brought the November 28th of 1912”, declared the Albanian President, Bujar Nishani.

“He is returning today, the last one from the biggest battle for the freedom of Kosovo. A battle that lasted one century. Kosovo was in smoke, from Kacanik to Boletin. Today, Isa Boletini should feel well because Albania and Kosovo are well”, declared the Parliament Speaker of Kosovo, Kadri Veseli.

“Despite the political pragmatism, Isa Boletini was the man of major national ideals. He joins us today on the day when his long, one century trip, is ending there where he was born. His birthplace is welcoming him today, the place which is from today the new pantheon of Albanians”, declared the Prime Minister of Kosovo, Isa Mustafa.

Other speeches were held by the leader of the Democratic Party of Albania, Lulzim Basha, the Mayor of Mitrovica, Agim Bahtiri, representatives from Macedonia, Montenegro and Presheva.

Gazmend Boletini, the grand-nephew of the national hero thanked the present on behalf of the family,
