Four victims after aggressive flu, chronic patients more at risk

The flu period was earlier this year, since it usually starts in
January, February and March. Four chronic patients have died at the
“Shefqet Ndroqi” hospital after they were affected by flu, which
complicated their health, according to lung specialist Arjan Mezini.
Complications could cause fatal consequences for people suffering chronic lung diseases, diabetes and heart problems.
Dr.Mezini says their ER treats 70 to 100 patients a day, which made them ask help from three doctors. He warns that the upcoming days will be even more problematic.
