FM Cani presents detailed plan of anti-informality September operation

September 1st will be also the first day when the government action against informality will officially start. Finance Minister, Shkëlqim Cani, presented the detailed plan this Saturday, saying that big companies will be the main target.
The minister also said that this operation was designed together with other institutions like IMF and also business representatives. According to him, 100 thousands businesses operate in Albania, but nearly 33% of them do not have e fiscal cash register, whereas level of informality is almost 50%.
Cani insisted that revenue increase is the main goal of this operation, which will help the government also in reducing taxes and public debt, but also help increasing wages end pensions.
