A strong explosion in Athens has shocked the Sepolia neighborhood in
Athens. According to the police, a bomb package has exploded in front of
a convenience store, property of a 21 year old Albanian.
Police says that the explosion mechanism, a F1 model, produced in Russia, has exploded as soon as the 21 year old tried to open the package where it was set.
After the explosion, the Albanian emigrant woman has taken severe wounds in her hands, neck and chest. She has been immediately transported to the Genimata Hospital, Athens, where she is being medicated out of life danger.
Police says that they have found no leads for the authors and the causes of the event. Preliminary investigations do not indicate any involvement in criminal activities of the victim.
