The Prosecutor General of Albania, Adriatik Llalla, has been forced to
move his children and his pergnant wife from Albania to an ally country,
after receiving threats regarding a strong criminal case.

Everything started two months ago, when Llalla received anonymous threats, which, say sources for Top Channel, have been serious and targeting his family members.

Same sources say that the Prosecutor is concerned about his wife, who is pregnant with their third child. The Prosecutor has notified the government authorities, the President and the Secret Service. His children and wife were then taken under protection.

Same sources say that the threats have continued with physical threats to his relatives, due to an ongoing investigation of an alleged criminal group.

Top Channel has learned that partner foreign services and embassies in Tirana, mainly from the EU, have offered to shelter the PG’s family permanently, and Llalla accepted it.

PG Llalla says he visits his family often, but the level of stress is high. Top Channel has learned that the PG and his family will move permanently, after hundreds of difficult cases were treated by the Prosecution during this year.

These threats are the biggest attack made so far to a PG, since the murder of the driver of PG Theodhori Sollaku in 2013, and the bomb in the house of PG Alush Dragoshi in 1996, when some relatives of him were injured.
