The EU Delegation in Tirana joined the stance of the USA, condemning the violence that took place yesterday at the Albanian Parliament.
“The EU condemns the violence during yesterday’s protests and the behaviour of the Parliament members. The democratic processes, may them be parliamentary sessions or protests, should be allowed to continue peacefully. The citizens of Albania demand from their elected representatives to show leadership and responsibility, and to work with international partners for important reforms, which are determining for Albania’s aspiration to join the EU”, says the reaction of the EU delegation.
