political parties from all fronts, who used the podium to launch
accusations and coalition invitations.
Opposition leader, Lulzim Basha, invited his ally Agron Duka to stay loyal to their year long cooperation. From the SP, in absence of PM Rama, Taulant Balla invited Duka to return to the left-centered parties. The SP delegate chose to leave the room when Basha started speaking.
“Our alliance is open and we are ready to represent every Albanian who fights for these values. Separation from crime is a national urgency, an appeal for our political formation. It is an appeal that comes from our society, our country, and our duty is to answer them. All Albania knows today that we are in a national emergency”, Basha said.
Taulant Balla returned to the room later than announced, avoided his political rival and gave the Prime Minister’s message for Agron Duka.
“I greet your convention with the conviction it is the last one that finds your party with the Democratic Party. PM Rama advised me to say that in Kolonja we are obliged to win so that we can tell the DP they cannot win against us. This will be the next loss of the DP, not of the Environmentalist Agrarian Party. Your place should be with the winners”, Balla said.
Agron Duka, who had earlier reconfirmed his alliance with the right wing, declared: “The cooperation with the DP. Thank you, Mr.Basha”.
