Bushati: “EU reconfirmed enlargement policy. Opposition must not block integration”

For Minister Bushati, their motivation should encourage all political forces, not only the Socialist Party and the government.

“I am happy because the EU reconfirmed its clear support to the enlargement policy, for the process of state-consolidating reforms in Albania, mainly for the judiciary reform and the first steps that were taken in the Vetting Process, fight against organized crime, corruption and narcotics. Also for Albania’s role, for our strategic clarity as regards the aligning of foreign policy, and for the fact that Albania is closer than ever to the EU accession talks. Naturally, the work is not over yet. This motivation coming from EU should encourage all political forces, not only the Socialist Party and government. We need to continue the reforms and stop putting obstacles. The accession talks should be a national priority, before any political debate and party prejudice”, Bushati said.
