Basha: “The Tirana Ring Road project has no transparency”

The Democratic Party leader, Lulzim Basha, said at the “Forum of students for good governance” that the project for the new Ring Road is a corruptive one.
According to Basha, the expropriation of the residents is guaranteed by law, but the law is being violated by the government and by the state.
“They have a project and they want to demolish 370 houses. The project has a corruptive tender. There wasn’t a fair race. 40 million EUR for two kilometers of road? Has anyone asked the engineers and the residents about this? NO consultations. The government and the state have violated the law, because the expropriation of the citizens is guaranteed by law”, the Democratic Party leader declared.
