The Democratic Party leader, Lulzim Basha, joined the protest of the opposition in front of the Prime Minister’s Office at 18:35.

In his speech in front of the protesters, Basha said that the opposition is closer than ever to the unification of Albanians, and more determined than ever against crime and corruption.

The Democratic Party leader accused Rama of having connections with crime and of demolishing the property of Albanian people.

“This man will enter the country’s history as the Prime Minister who destroyed the homes of Albanians. He will be remembered as the Prime Minister captured by organized crime, and who governs in favor of criminals. But our people is no longer afraid, and we are all determined to make him go away”, Basha said.

“Albanians and the entire world must understand that there will be no compromise with the government of crime and of stolen votes. We will make no compromise with the basic principle of democracy, which is the free vote. We want Albania like all Europe. There is no development with Edi Rama, no agreement. We declare him the anti-state, anti-law and anti-justice”, Basha said.
