The bids for the construction of the Tirana-Durres highway will open from February 15th, 2020.
10 companies made it through the first phase. The Ministry of Infrastructure and EBRD have now agreed that the winning firm will do both, the project and construction.
The agreement will be signed on April 2020, while the works are expected to last for around two years.
The construction only is going to cost 70 million Euros. More money will be needed for the engine and wagons.
The Ministry will also have to find the operating company, while the ticket price will be 1.5 Euros.
