The leader of the Democratic Party, Lulzim Basha, reacted to the arrest
of Moisi Habilaj from the Italian Police, for drug traffic.
He said that the DP has been reporting his ties with power for years.
“The Italian police arrested today the head of a drug traffic gang from Albania, Moisi Habilaj. The Democratic Party has reported his ties with the government four years ago. The famous Audi of the Interior Minister was being used by the man that was arrested today in Italy”, Basha said.
“Prime Minister Edi Rama enabled the arrest of Dritan Zagani, the police officer who reported these ties, and kept attacking the opposition. What is he going to tell today? The drug quantity caught by the Italian police has a 20 million EUR value. How much has he circulated these four years with protection from Tahiri and Rama?”, the DP leader declared.
