Sources from the Ministry of Infrastructure say that the Albanian
Director of Road Authority, Dashamir Xhika, has offered his resignation
to Minister Gjkiknuri. The resignation was confirmed for Top Channel by
Mr.Xhika himself.
Another director from this ministry, Ylli Spahiu, was dismissed by order of the Prime Minister. He served as Director of Transportation Services. He declared in a phone call that he has received no official information about it.
Both these directories are very important for the transportation sector, the former being responsible for all national roads and new investments, the second for driving licenses and vehicle documentation.
Both directors were members of the Socialist Movement for Integration.
