Albania will send more soldiers to Afghanistan, on NATO missions

The Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces, Brigadier General
Bardhyl Kollçaku, declared that Albania will continue its mission in
Afghanistan and will increase its presence.

“Albania will stay committed, as long as it is necessary, with the NATO mission Resolute Support. Our joint effort is to not let Afghanistan turn into a safe place for international terrorism. Albania doubled its presence last year and I want to let you know that we will increase it with another unit. This is the determination of the Albanian government and of the Armed Forces, to continue our contribution in Afghanistan”, said Brigadier General Bardhyl Kollcaku.
