Thousands Albanians are on holidays in Turkish coasts of Bodrum and many
live in Kos, Greece. Both these places were hit by a strong earthquake
today.

Top Channel has communicated with local authorities, who confirmed that only one Albanian had been injured by the earthquake.

His name is Aldo Begolli, from Flogji village, Korce. He was sent to the hospital of the Kos Island with problems in his back. He was operated and is currently receiving treatment in hospital, out of life threatening dangers. The Albanian Embassy in Athens has offered to help the family.

An Albanian immigrant tells that everybody is anxious, since other earthquakes may be expected.

“The mosque was totaled. Every road has been destroyed. We are panicked, because they say another strong earthquake is expected. Tourists went outside and they only cried. Hotels were emptied. Every shop window has been destroyed”, says the Albanian woman.

The Albanian Embassy in Ankara says no Albanian holiday maker was hurt by the earthquake in Turkey.
