German MP: “DP-SP coalition, not the worst solution”

German MP, Thorsten Frei, said for Deutsche Welle that these elections
in Albania are expected to be better than those of 2013, also based on
OSCE evaluations.
The German MP says the agreement reached between the government and opposition, under international intermediation, was very important.
When asked if there is a chance for a coalition between the Democratic Party and the Socialist Movement for Integration, Frei says that bigger coalitions are never desired, but it’s not the worst solution for the countries on the region.
As for the work done so far by the Rama government, Frei says the candidate status was a success, while the fight against criminality, corruption and cannabis plantation remain very important.
