The Democratic Party concluded an agreement with some of the ally
parties, 24 hours before filing its lists at the Central Election
Commission.
Nard Ndoka from The Demo-Christian Party, Vangjel Dule from the UHRP of the Greek Minority, and Dashamir Shehi from the National Development Movement, will not run in separate lists, but will be represented under the Democratic Party logo.
In exchange, each of them will have a safe place on the Democratic Party lists, in Shkoder, Vlore and Tirana. They will also have candidates in favorable areas.
Shehi said that this formula guarantees that if the Democratic Party wins the elections, they will all win.
No agreement has been announced yet from the Republicans of Fatmir Mediu and the Agrarians of Agron Duka, who are demanding more than one safe place for their candidates.
