US Ambassador, Donald Lu: “Elections are legal even without the opposition”

US Ambassador Donald Lu, in an interview for the Voice of America, commented about the current situation in Albania.
Lu declared that the next parliamentary elections could be held even without the opposition.
“Elections are best when everyone is involved. But the elections are legal even without the opposition”, Lu declared.
When asked about the efforts of the international partners in this crisis, Lu said that the talks are not a one-day discussion, but a very long process.
