New Ministers are sworn in at the Presidential Office

President Nishani had previously decreed Fatmir Xhafaj as Interior Minister, Olta Xhaçka as Minister for Social Welfare, Eduart Shalsi as Minister of Local government and Ogerta Manastirliu as Health Minister. They were accompanied in the Presidential Office by vice Prime Minsiter Niko Peleshi.

President Nishani had previously declared he valued as inappropriate the nomination of Mr. Xhafaj as Minister but was obliged by the constitution to block his candidacy that was later approved by the majority in Parliament.
