PM Rama: “Parliamentary boycott defends criminal judges”

The Albanian Prime Minister, Edi Rama, accused the opposition of trying
to stop the process of cleaning the judiciary system from corrupted
officials, who, according to him, liberate criminals arrested by police.

“There are hundreds of crimes committed by criminals who have been arrested by police, and then released by corrupted judges. This is why we need the vetting law, because it is the only way to liberate the people and police from these killers, who are being protected today by Parliamentary boycott”, Rama said.

The Albanian Prime Minister underlined in a meeting for promoting women in police forces, that tracking down criminals and arresting them is a huge challenge. This is why it is a great betrayal to see these criminals back on the streets, after they have been arrested with evidence against them.

“The killers who wear judge robes use their gavels to strike the heads of those mothers who have lost their sons, and of the women who have been violated”, Rama said.
