The meeting of the High Council of Justice gathered today to select the members of the new Electoral College.
After the lots, which were open for the public to see, eight judges were elected out of 90 in total.
Artur Malaj, from the Tirana Administrative Court of Appeal;
Tomorr Shkreli, From the Shkoder Court of Appeal;
Ridvan Hado, Tirana Court of Appeal;
Shkëlqim Mustafa, Tirana Court of Appeal;
Lindita Sinanaj, Tirana Administrative Court of Appeal;
Gjin Gjoni, Tirana Court of Appeal;
Astrit Kalaja, Shkoder Court of Appeal;
Sotiraq Lubonja, Korce Court of Appeal.
The most noted names are those of Shkelqim Mustafa, who worked with the January 21st case; Ridvan Hado, who led the judge panel that worked with the Gerdec Tragedy; Astrit Kalaja, Electoral College member in 2011, who gave victory to Lulzim Basha against Edi Rama for the Municipality of Tirana.
The eight judges of the Electoral College will take their oath at the High Council of Justice.
