Gjirokaster Judge suspended after sex scandal

After an audio-scandal was published on the media, the President of the
Gjirokaster Court, Guximtar Boci, was discharged from his duty with 14
unanimous votes from the High Council of Justice.

The HCJ also voted to suspend him from his duty until the investigations are over.

In this meeting called especially for this case, the HCJ also started investigations for a inspector of the HCJ, which was mentioned in the audio registration of the Judge, together with another Judge from the Gjirokaster First Instance.

The Minister of Justice, Ylli Manjani, declared that judges such as Guximtar Boci should not be part of the justice system. He said he should be suspended for this.

The Union of Judges as also released a declaration in which they distance themselves from Boci.
