EU and US embassies react after Constitutional Court suspended Vetting Law

The US and EU embassies in Tirana reacted after the Constitutional Court
suspended the “Vetting Law”. Both embassies asy they respect its
authority and are waiting for the Constitutional Court to refer this law
as soon as possible to the Venice Commission.
“The USA and EU respect the authority of the Constitutional Court to review the Vetting law and suspend its implementation. The Constitutional Court said they will refer the law at the Venice Commission. We encourage them to make it as soon as possible and without delays. The USA and the EU remain dedicated to a full implementation of the judiciary|”, says the declaration of the EU and US embassies.
