The Tirana Administrative Court of Appeal left in effect the verdict
first issued by the Court of First Instance, ruling in favor of the Cali
family for the operation tender of the Patoku Lagoon.
This family had requested the repeal of a Ministry of Agriculture decision which allowed MP Armando Prenga to operate the Patoku Lagoon.
The Cali family, according to the court, has invested 30 million ALL at the Lagoon, which was the cause of a conflict with MP Armando Prenga, which degenerated in a shooting.
MP Armando Prenga is being prosecuted by the Supreme Court for three criminal charges, including wounding, threatening and illegal arm possession.
