Secret Service Director asked about spy equipment

The Hearing Session of the Parliamentary Security Commission started
this Wednesday with the Secret Service leader, Visho Ajazi, the Chief of
Police, Haki Cako, Prosecutor General, Adriatik Llalla, and the
Interior Minister, Saimir Tahiri.

The first declaration came from Visho Ajazi, Director of the Secret Service. He said that two months ago they received information that the equipment had arrived in Albania, as part of a training of the Albanian police. “I contacted the Prosecutor General and informed the state institution, doing our duty, for an equipment that could damage the national security”, Ajazi said.

He added that the duty of the institution he led ended here.

“After this, it was up to the Prosecution to receive further information. We had no interest to know how it was used”, he said.
