The Panama Papers scandal that has shocked the world has also influenced
our country. The Prosecution and Albanian police are investigating the
implication of Albanian businessman Ismail Mulleti.
The Voice of America writes that the Albanian police has verified the travels of Mullet and the Israeli citizen, Assaf Halkin. They have frequently traveled from and to Albania, often with charter airplanes, VOA says.
Top Channel asked the Prosecution General for a press release. He declared that the Prosecution is cooperating with other law-enforcing institutions to clear up the situation on a possible involvement of Albanian companies or individuals with Panama Papers.
