MP Agron Duka leaves Republicans for Agrarians

The Environmentalist Agrarian Party will not be led anymore by its
historic leader, but by MP Agron Duka. However, Mr.Duka rejects voices
that this is because he left the opposition to join the majority.
“This is not an abandoning, but a passage. I consulted my decision with the head of the Republican Party, Fatmir Mediu. I have good relations with Mediu and we will continue in the future as two parties that belong to the same opposition coalition. That’s where my votes came from and that’s the side I will keep until the end”, Duka declared.
Duka explains that the Agrarian Party will support the initiatives of the majority in Parliament. The official announcement of their party says that Xhuveli has resigned and has proposed Duka as his successor.
