The Ministry of Education suspended 51 private agencies that used to
train teachers, but with a bad quality. Teachers have often paid them
and received a certificate that makes them earn credit without following
the training program.
The low preparation level was noticed after testing 17.600 teachers of the pre-university system, 10.7% of whom were weak, 63.9% were average and 24.7% had good professional preparation.
Minister Nikolla said a new qualification scheme will be used to build based on the advises and suggestions of international experts who are developing a scientific conference with Albanian education experts in Tirana.
